But now this is 21st century in which 6,000 - 7,000 security forces personnel has been sacrificed their lives to keep up the heaven there, more than 17000+ civilians casualties after the 1990. Till now, security forces killed 26,000+ militants, captured 3,000+ and around 4,500+ militants turns their back.
But the story still remains continue,
In last 3 months , there are 17 killings confirmed.
Recently on 1 June , a teacher Rajni Bala was killed in Kulgam and just after that next day on 2 June, Vijay Kumar a bank employee shot dead.
Before that, on 25 May, A Kashmiri TV actor was shot multiple times.
On 12 May , a Kashmiri Pandit who was working in the Revenue Department of J&K was shot dead inside the office in Budgam.
On 4 April, Bal Krishan, a Kashmiri Pandit shot dead in Shopian and on the same day three labourers who were belong to outside of J&K were shot.
After the granting of Article 370, there are 18 targeted killings reported. And even BSF detected at least five tunnel in last 18 months.
So, basically it took suddenly an Everest spike after these Major reasons that increase in target killings -
1). The current situation of Pakistan. Now it is faceing $6.4 billion in debt. And due to reshuffling of the PM chairs to the next
Shehbaz Sharif who will try to cover all news media headlines by putting the J&K topic first.
2). The second reason is return of Taliban regime which ensured good supply of arms in the valley and revised killings as the terrorist activitiees.
During the 1996-2001, close to 7905 militants were killed in encounters with security forces in J&K in which 2018 were foreigners. During the five-year period, 1904 security men were also killed in militancy violence in J&K.
3). The third reason is relocation of kashmiri pandits into the valley again.
Earlier on 19 Feb, MHA informed in Rajyasabha that 610 Kashmiri Pandit in J&K has been resorted.
4).Some of the SC-ST tribes which earlier lived in the valley.
5). Recent one being the life time imprisonment of Yasin.
